Unable to play files over samba shared folder. Ive trying to uninstall then reinstall the app, but the bug Still the same.

Dont buy this app. Videos arent smooth and containers with subtitles doesnt works!

Not good, the audio and video is not sinchronized. Shame if this bug was fixed, it will be a really good app.

What I like in this app is that you can create subfolders and play videos from them. This does not work for VLC, for instance. The quality of some divx files is really bad, although they run fine on my TV and laptop. The new GUI is no improvement: Long file names (which you have especially for episodes from series) are cut off in the middle of the screen. That should be fixed! Overall not bad but still needs improvement.

The avi files I tried either had an ugly bar blocking the video or the frame rates were too slow, unwatchable. Hope these things can be solved in the future since smooth playback experience is essential. The default formats like h264 and m2v played fine tho.

Well it is a good start. .divx files work but below a watchable level. 720 divx is out of the question, 480 is choppy and out of sync. I had a really low quality movie that started out great and 5 min into it everything went choppy and unwatchable. Hopefully my $$ will be used to improve it. yet to try an flv but that could be interesting. A few more tweaks on this program and I think we have a winner. looking forward to an update!!!

I didnt have much time to fully test this application. I played bunch of avi movies (no High Definition) that I had on my computer and didnt have time to convert them to m4v format and all of them worked great. Well spent 4.99 very happy with my purchase. :o) Tip for next update: I would like to see Wi-Fi transfer between iPad and my computer. I dont want to connect to iTunes every time to upload movies to my iPad.

Hopefully an update to fix the lag with xvids is released as right now they are not watchable.

Did not work at all!!!! Tried 25 different sites that was working with the 1.03 now the video never start. Really not happy please fix this version ASAP looks like I lost 4,99$

Love the app. Works very well with most video files Ive tried except for some mKvs ... Smooth play back. Also works great with my NAS using twonky. I can access all my video files with twonkys built in http browser.

The aspect ratio problem has been addressed, although the presentation is not consistent. There is still some stuttering in playback. Once these bugs are gone, this will be a solid recommendation.

Video playback on this program is so bad to the point that it is unwatchable. The picture is extremely choppy and the audio is out of sync. I bought this to play FLV files and its unbearable. Ive ended up converting them to AVI and just play them in VLC where they work flawlessly. Not to mention, VLC is free. This program does not work as advertised, dont bother wasting your money on it.

Actually I paid 5$ for nothing. It is just waste. I thought it can run flash file as given in details of this product but when I try to play it closes itself. If money refund was possible , I would get it.

It crashes immediately. Please fix this problem.

This used to be the most awesome audio video player on an iPad. Was great for playing live audio & video mms streams. Waste of money & time now. The last 3 updates have been horrible & functionality has dropped w each one. This last one doesnt work at all. I am saddened by the lack of care from developer. I wrote them before & no answer & no way to undo updates. Both the versions are exactly the same...one costs more...same updates. I regret ever buying this program. It is such a shame...was so promising a few years ago.

Hi people, this App is really great, we can watch our avi files which we couldnt do with iPad ! Of course it needs to be improved but you should buy this App in order to encourage the developer to do so (improve it like frame rate...). So its not perfect but its already so fantastic to be able to watch your Divx on your iPad without having to convert it to iPad format !!!

The last version up in August deteriolated the quality so badly, but no version up so far. I am surprised to know new verion up is made as new software named yxplayer2, which I need to purchase again. This is almost criminal to the customer who bought the old software. Apple needs to correct the developer.
